After examination of photographs one can boldly say that in the period of German occupation nature in Babyn Yar in the area of Jewish cemetery was not harmed. An analysis of the aerophotographs, which was made during the German occupation, rejects a version about even little entombments in gullies close by the Jewish graveyard. However, here is what attracts attention. The Germans drove together thousands of Jews to that part of Orthodox cemetery, which was not used at that time (now it’s the terrain of the military graveyard), commanded to strip to the skin to those, who didn’t want to give jewellery away of their own accord. After that it was commanded to dress and Jews were led to the station “Tovarna” along the eastern wall of the Orthodox cemetery and between the buildings of military stores. At the station the prepared coaches were standing, by which they were, probably, driven to the near collective farms or harried Minsk. If an average reader can discern a pit and a solitary person on the aerophotographs, than how one could not see the graves of 100 thousand people?

During the World War II the Germans deemed confiscation of Jewish gold a military indemnity. In July of 1941 only in Lviv 5 tons of gold was confiscated from Jews. The same Germans did in Lodz, Warsaw, Vilnyus, in every large Ukrainian city. Germans made a ghetto for Jews in Lviv, so they were not driven out from the city, as it was in Kyiv, where making such ghetto was not planned.

The first aim of Ukrainian historians is to find the places, where Germans drove from Kyiv the Jewish inhabitants, to research their further fate and, perhaps, the place of their annihilation. We won’t succeed to find out it from “those who escaped” from Babyn Yar – in reality they are the servants of NKVD. They do, as they did it in the past, circulate the fib of Solomon Lozovskiy, Illya Erienburg and their Soviet informational bureau. Even in an extreme old age this veterans of ChK, NKVD and KGB do not cease vindicating their Bolshevik lies.

It is only possible to find the truth in the Hitlerite card indices of the solitary SS-men, which hitherto remain in Berlin Documentation Center, until quite recently controlled by Americans. There are more than a million of them there. In these cards is written about the kinsfolk, salaries, wages, medals and punishments, complied and not complied military tasks of every SS-man. So it is not difficult to learn, who of them was in Kyiv in September - October 1941.

The second method of exploration of destiny of the deported Jews is the search in the bank books of the central bank of Third Reich in Berlin. There is no doubt, that there is written the quantity of gold and jewellery, which were confiscated from Jews in Kyiv.

In the American national archives about one hundred tons of Hitlerite documents are kept, which nobody has looked through yet. Maybe, there are twice more documents in archives of the former Soviet Union. Probably, in them there is hidden the answer in the Kyiv “riddle in conundrum”:

TWO THOUSAND UKRAINIAN VICTIMS OF HITLERISM ARE BURIED ON THE TERRAIN OF THE KYIV TELEVISION TOWER.

The weekly paper “Ukraine” and “Liberalna gazeta”(Liberal newspaper) were the first who didn’t confine themselves to the evidence of “those who escaped”, but described how with the help of aerophotographs and local observation of the terrain the place of interment of the majority of Ukrainian victims, killed by Hitlerites, and poetess Olena Teliga among them. Near this common grave is one of the four prop. Here, at the place of the interment, somebody of the employees of TV has planted a raspberry-bushes and hitherto there grow two large limes, which are seen little saplings on the photographs of the war times. Examination at the place in November of 1993 discovered that the little memorial wooden cross at the meadow, which is at a distance of 750 meters to the west from the terrain of the television tower, is situated on the place that has nothing in common with the common graves. Further from the graves of the victims of ChKa and Hitlerites the bronze socialistic memorial to Babyn Yar is erected - at a distance of 300 meters to the South from the wooden cross.

For the head of the Jewish board of Ukraine I.Levitas Babyn Yar is a “riddle in conundrum”. Illya Levitas, the head of the Jewish board of Ukraine (a union of Jewish communities in Ukraine), in 1993 in the article “Unguessed mysteries of Babyn Yar” in the weekly paper “Yevreyskie vesti” (Jewish news) he advanced a belief about annihilation of hundreds thousand of Jews in Babyn Yar. However, being a to some extent an objective person, he reckoned and analysed fifteen contradictions in this entire story, which confuse him and which he can not explain. That’s why he named the story of Babyn Yar a “riddle in conundrum”.

The head Levitas writes about his confusion: “As we see the number of victims increases. Nevertheless, the Extraordinary commission of investigation of the fascist’s crimes on the occupied territory, which began its activity immediately after the liberation of Kyiv, gave the number of victims again with the German exactness – 33771. How did this number got to the Extraordinary commission is also a mystery. The thing that the number coincided again to within one person in our data and the data of our occupants – is already a “riddle in conundrum”.

In our opinion, the secret reports of Einsatzgruppen, where this numbers are taken from, is one of many Soviet or Alliance fakes.
