Ukraine to the EU!

The main positive motivation of Ukraine to join the EU is still to be a slogan of Khvylyovyi “Back from Moscow!”. Under such circumstances even the aid of the West fades into the background.  Firstly, nobody hopes for that aid, and secondly, Ukrainians would be unable to accept it without losses for themselves…

Motivations of Poles, who are the main promoters of Kyiv’s Euro-Atlantic plans, are in a reverse order to Ukrainian one. Poland is the first standing in a queue for the aid from the EU.

But similarities of the neighbours let them understand each other and resist to Russophile sentiments of French establishment (that are seemed to be stronger than Polonophile one) and German political inferiority that was born by defeats in two World Wars and is actively used by Russia and others…

But Polish titanic efforts to incorporate Ukraine to Europe should be explained not only by natural wish to move away the western borders of Russia as far as possible from their home.

While being in the EU, Poland thoroughly defends its sovereignty (that hardly can be done or wished to be done by non-Ukrainian establishment of Ukraine). Poland has an experience of balancing between the beetle and the block, and the success of such new-old policy is demonstrated by the role which was given her by the US in Iraq, where, exactly, a model of fraternal Ukrainian-Polish relations in Europe is working well through… Rescuing Ukraine from Russia, Poland aims to follow her traditional unification policy in nowadays and future. (Probably it is not random that Yushchenko noticed that the area where he tended cows in childhood has used to be an old Polish frontier in 18 century). In order to fulfil her aim in the EU Poland will have all means: open borders, role of the unselfish guide and advisor for Ukraine in the EU (our “door to Europe”) and mediation in relations with the US.

By the way it’s the third parameter, by which political vectors of Ukraine and Poland are going to cross. Both countries desire to be the most dedicated allies of the USA in European continent. These desires have of course an objective ethno-political ground. The ethnic structure of state’s elites is similar. Jewish representatives predominate over representatives of national majority. Preservation of such order in Poland is assisted by… Catholic Church, and in Ukraine – by historical traditions. The similarity of results and consequences is amazing! However there are some differences.

In Poland, according to existing practice, a Catholic of Jewish origin must to show himself as a fervent patriot of the country not only by word but sometimes by deed, masking his real intentions or results of his activity.

In Ukraine the cynicism of Jewish lords has no limits, not to mention their power. Because of weak national resistibility, the national majority is yet unable to oppose against not only their power but even its brutal forms (including Russification policy of this “conscientious” part of the society).

There is also a fourth constituent. Poland and, especially, Ukraine has won their independence recently.  Poland and, especially, Ukraine did not exhaust yet the potential of their sovereignty. That is why there are many Euro-sceptics among Polish enthusiasts of Ukrainian future in the EU. They hope that entry of Ukraine to the EU will postpone plans of creation of European federation and, simultaneously, will save Polish independence. You can say that their hopes are vain. But when Poland was a candidate to the EU, their plans were supported by British Conservatives who hoped that the entry of Poland will hamper or “grave” the projects of European “over-state”… We will see… But what will happen to Europe, when Ukrainians realize what they have lost, thanks to their leaders, after the joining the EU?

Now about Europeans. Despite Moscow meditations on the theme: “NATO rockets on Ukrainian-Russian border” it is clear that the EU representatives don’t want even to promise something to the “orange” revolutionaries. Why? Is it because of love and own inferiority to Russia?

They promise to Turkey. Soon the half of French population will go to mosques and Germany will turn into multiracial society like the US.  Do Ukrainians want to be the part of such federation?

Maybe, the problem is not only the money, which is spend by “old” countries of the EU to adapt Poland and will be spend to incorporate Ukraine? Is there something more?

Probably, the potential of Ukraine is in what Europeans are afraid of. The potential, which has been almost exhausted by Moscow.  Everybody can see her inadequate and powerless policy on the edge of 20 and 21 centuries. (Especially revealing is an inadequacy of Putin’s Russia thanks to her retro-efforts).

Was the “orange” revolution the last one on the banks of the Dniper?
