Statement of UNA-UNSO

 

The leader of “Our Ukraine” has hardly become the president of Ukraine (though there are processing of complaints in Central Election Committee and inauguration) when mass media began to stick our name to him. The “5 channel” informed that by the order of Yushchenko “UNSO-men” are piqueting the Cabinet building, unknown persons on behalf of UNA-UNSO imparted their revolutionary creative plans on TV, Moscow “TV-Centre” told about secret and mean intentions of Viktor Andriyevich Yushchenko concerning “resuscitation” of UNA-UNSO (before that TRK “Ukraina” reported about UNA-UNSO “brigades” marching to seize Donetsk).

We state, as at the end of 2003, that UNA-UNSO is not under Yushchenko’s control and fulfil neither his nor any “opposition leader’s” orders. We consider that as a future commander-in chief of Ukrainian armed forces he has no need to be a commander-in chief of UNA-UNSO.

Probably, the information about the lead of UNA-UNSO “fighters” would not do any harm to Viktor Andriyevych… But, in our opinion, it can do harm to us. We do not need the fame of UNA of Edward Kovalenko. Especially because the real organizers of this UNA, which loves Yushchenko so much, are going to transfer it to another person, who is well-known in revolutionary circles.

UNA-UNSO detachments will not hinder the activity of the government, which according to words of the future president of Ukraine doesn’t exist. We have, unfortunately, an experience of “storming” empty governmental buildings in 2001 by the order of the “opposition leaders”…

It flatters us that our enemy are dreading and waiting for a storm of our legions from day to day. We inform: UNA-UNSO detachments are in winter quarters and do not need “resuscitation”.
